Biography
FMH-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Sophie Nordback completed her training primarily at the University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV) in Lausanne, with rotations in several regional hospitals, including Sion at the Central Hospital of Valais Romand.
She continued at CHUV as a senior registrar from 2011 to 2015, then worked at Morges Hospital as an affiliated physician from 2013 to 2018. She obtained the EBOPRAS diploma (European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) in 2011 and received her FMH specialist title in 2013.
In June 2015, Dr. Nordback opened her own private practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Lutry, while continuing her hospital work in Morges until 2018. Her independent practice also led her to collaborate with the Aesthetics Clinic in Geneva, allowing her to offer patients a broader range of treatments and an extended technical platform.
From 2018 onwards, her colleague dermatologist Dr. Alexandra Miles joined her practice in Lutry. Together, they decided to create a more ambitious structure and founded Maison Tóā in 2020 — a center dedicated to plastic surgery and dermatology in the heart of Lausanne.
Her areas of expertise cover the full spectrum of plastic surgery: from reconstructive surgery after breast cancer or skin tumors to aesthetic surgery of the face and breasts.
Training and Career
More than 15 years of experience in plastic surgery, from CHUV to Morges Hospital, from private practice in Lutry to the co-founding of Maison Tóā in Lausanne.
