How does SkinBooster work?

Skinbooster is a viscoelastic gel containing an exclusive blend of highly dosed moisturizing hyaluronic acid and a carefully selected dermo-restructuring complex including: 8 amino acids, 3 antioxidants, 2 minerals and vitamin B6. It is therefore a magic cocktail that restores and repairs the skin barrier. It acts as a protective net, shielding the skin structure from external aggressions and thus helping to maintain and instantly improve the quality of the skin.

For whom is Skinbooster indicated?

Skinbooster allows to obtain results on all types of skin, whether they are more or less mature. It can be performed as soon as the first fine lines appear. Skinbooster injections are particularly indicated for wrinkled, dehydrated and sagging skin. The treatment is recommended for everyone who wants to enjoy a rejuvenating treatment by fighting the signs of skin aging to regain a more toned and radiant skin.

What part of the body can be treated?

The Skinbooster treatment is mainly injected in the face, to alleviate the wrinkled effect of cheeks, crow’s feet and fine lines on the upper lip. It is also used in the neck to fight horizontal wrinkles, in the neckline to reduce vertical wrinkles, and in the back of the hands.

What results can be expected after a session?

In general, the Skinbooster treatment improves the skin’s hydration, makes it more elastic, improves its texture, diminishes redness and small wrinkles and alleviates any other sign of premature aging of the skin. On certain parts of the body, such as the cheeks or the neckline, it even has a “smoothing” effect.

The Skinbooster offers a global revitalization of the skin, effective for an anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effect, but also to repair the marks of fatigue, and imperfections due to environmental factors.

It also helps to boost the body’s production of collagen without creating volume. As we age, collagen fibers are destroyed by free radicals which cause oxidative stress responsible for premature aging of the skin such as the appearance of pigmentation marks, a lack of elasticity or a dull complexion.

Skinbooster has an immediate plumping and revitalizing effect and the results are generally visible after the first session.

For optimal results, it is recommended to perform 3 sessions at 4 week intervals.

To maintain the effect, we recommend 1-2 sessions per year depending on your skin’s needs.

What happens during the session?

The skinbooster injection is a treatment reserved for medical use and will be performed by your aesthetic doctor. The treatment is injected into the middle dermis through a very fine needle (0.4mm) at a distance of 1cm, which allows the product to be spread over the entire treated area.

Directly after the injections, we suggest you complete the treatment with the application of a silicone mask enriched with hyaluronic acid in order to maximize the effects of the Skinbooster and to reduce post-injection redness.

Does it hurt?

The Skinbooster treatment is administered on localized areas and each session lasts only about 30 minutes. Before the treatment, an anesthetic cream is applied to the treated area, making the treatment painless.

What are the after effects of the treatment?

Skinbooster is a long-lasting and non-invasive treatment. However, due to the multitude of microinjections, the skin may show small irregularities and redness directly after the treatment.

For this reason, we recommend the application of a mask with repairing properties for 15 minutes or facials. We advise you not to plan any important events on the same day.

The next day, there are no more signs of injections, you can put on your makeup and go out to show your friends that glowing skin, luminous complexion, and fresh look.

Are there any contraindications?

In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, Skinbooster is not authorized.

It is also not recommended to take any medication containing acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) before or after the session.
